I’ve been following badminton for close to ten years now. During this period I’ve met some fascinating characters, witnessed some great matches, and have authored a biography of Indian badminton great Prakash Padukone. I’ve written on the game for several publications, including Badzine, The New Indian Express, Indya.com, All Sports magazine, Hindustan Times and IANS. I’m also bringing out an eight-page newsletter called GUTS, which covers the Indian perspective on world badminton. I was one of the invitees at the Denmark Open in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and have attended several tournaments around the world over the last five years.
So far, I have covered the following tournaments:
Malaysia Open Super Series(2011)
All England (2008 & 2010)
Denmark Open Super Series (2009, 2010, 2011)
World Championships (2007 & 2009)
Asian Games (2006)
Thomas Cup (Asia Zone – 2006)
World Chinese Masters (2010)
Commonwealth Games (2010)
India Open GP Gold (2008, 2009)
