Manu Attri in Indian jr team

Lucknow, April 2: Manu Attri, a trainee of UP Badminton Academy hailing from Meerut, has been selected to represent the Indian junior badminton team which will be taking part in the World Junior Championships to be held at Mexico from April 16 to 25.

According to Dr Vijai Sinha, joint secretary, Badminton Association of India, Devendra Kaushal who is SAI coach posted at UP Badminton Academy, has been nominated as coach of Indian Junior Badminton Team. A coaching camp of the team for the tournament is being held at P Gopichand Badminton Academy, Hyderabad from April 1 to 15.
The team: Sai Praneeth (Andhra Pradesh), HS Prannoy (Kerala), Pranav Chopra (Air India), Manu Attri (Uttar Pradesh), N Sikki Reddy (Andhra Pradesh), PV Sindhu (Andhra Pradesh), Prajakta Sawant (Maharashtra), Gauri Ghate (Maharashtra); Coaches: Devendra Kaushal (SAI coach, Lucknow), Hadi Idris.
