The intersection of memories… and a stolen bag
Copenhagen Airport evokes powerful memories. It’s an intersection, as all airports are, an intersection of incoming and outgoing flights and memories. Saina climbs up to No.3
Kuala Lumpur: Riding on her Swiss Open triumph, ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal has regained the number three place in the latest world ranking. Saina, who missed the Malaysian Super Series early in the year because of a ligament injury and then suffered quarterfinal exits at the Korean Open and the All England Championships, notched up her first title of the season in Switzerland last week. Doubles player Jishnu Sanyal attracted the maximum bid of a whopping Rs 81,000 –peanuts by cricket standards but huge money in badminton, for this involves matches over three weekends. Continue reading

Team is weak: Li Yongbo
Beijing: China must temper its expectations ahead of the badminton World Championships in Paris later this month and taking home just three of the five titles up for grabs is a realistic target, said head coach Li Yongbo. Continue reading
